Oncology Care Plans for Improved Quality of Life

Every pet and every family is unique, and so is every cancer diagnosis. At NWVOS, we partner with trusted specialty clinics to create personalized cancer care plans that bring clarity, compassion, and confidence to the decision-making process.

Our goal is to explain your pet’s diagnosis in plain terms, outline the full range of treatment options, and provide supportive care strategies that match both medical needs and family goals. These plans are designed to help you feel informed, supported, and confident about the path ahead.

Initial Consultation

The process begins with an initial consultation at one of our partner clinics. During this visit, Dr. Breit reviews your pet’s medical history, diagnostic results, and overall condition, then discusses appropriate next steps. Treatment can be started same day if elected.

At each step of treatment patients are re-evaluated and adjustments are made based on the pets’ unique needs. This may mean changing the type of treatment or simply adding in more supportive care.

Ongoing Support

Care does not end with a single appointment. Through follow-up visits at our participating clinics, plans are adjusted as new information becomes available, communication with the referring veterinarian is maintained, and support continues for as long as the patient needs it. Whether the focus is on active treatment or comfort-based care, families can count on ongoing guidance and compassionate support throughout the process.

At every stage, our goal is to combine medical expertise with practical, compassionate care. Cancer may be a difficult diagnosis, but families do not have to navigate it alone.
