We offer clear communication, written care plans, and ongoing collaboration to ensure your patients receive the highest standard of care. Whether through treatment planning, diagnostic guidance, or continuing education, we are committed to being a reliable resource for your practice.

Together, we can provide pets and their families with the best possible outcomes with a compassionate and supportive experience.

How to Refer a Patient

Please contact us via email or phone with case information. Dr. Breit will be seeing patients in person at the following locations:

  • Old Growth Veterinary Services (Puyallup, WA)

  • Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency (Gig Harbor, WA)

Once an appointment is scheduled, the hospital team will request the necessary medical records from your practice.

Medical Records Needed for Oncology Referrals

Please provide:

  • Complete medical history relevant to the identified problem

  • Cytology, histopathology, or biopsy results if available

  • Recent bloodwork and urinalysis

  • Imaging reports (radiographs, ultrasound, CT, MRI) along with images whenever possible

  • Records of any previous or concurrent neoplastic disease

Additional records may be requested if needed for staging or treatment planning.

Consultation Support

Dr. Breit is available to review diagnostics, provide individualized treatment plans, and collaborate on ongoing management in coordination with the referring veterinarian. If you have general questions about a case or the referral process, please feel free to reach out to the participating hospital by phone or email.

What to Expect

At the initial consultation, Dr. Breit will meet with the client, review the patient’s records, and discuss diagnostic and treatment options in detail. A written summary will be provided to both the family and the referring veterinarian. Follow-up visits and ongoing communication will be managed through the hospital where the consultation is performed.
